More than just a tour

Lisbon is a city that draws you in when you least expect it. Its magic is in the details: autumn light filling the streets with gold, an ocean breeze refreshing summer days, the smoke and scent of roasting chestnuts warming winter evenings, and the unmistakable purple hue of flowering jacarandas in spring. Tiles reflecting its unique light, unexpected viewpoints, someone playing a beautiful tune that makes you smile as you sit and enjoy the view. And just like that, without even noticing, Lisbon has worked her charm on you.

I am an art historian who has worked as a guide, museum educator and heritage educator for more than 12 years. And I have been under Lisbon's spell for longer than I care to remember. A tour with me is a conversation—a walk with a friend of a friend who happens to know the city well and wants to share a place and a country they genuinely love. As an art historian, I do my best to keep up to date with research and to provide well-informed context, rather than simply repeating the generic facts you can find online

Whether you are drawn to architecture, art, or culture in its broadest sense, I want to create an experience that stays with you. I want to share not just Lisbon as a destination, but Lisbon as a place to connect with, discover, and remember.

Facade of a building with colorful decorative tiles in yellow, green, blue, and red, featuring a black door with a green frame and ventilation shutters, a blue house number
A historic maritime scene with sailing ships in a harbor, a cityscape with buildings and a large castle on a hill, and a decorative floral border in the upper part of the painting.
