Tours require a minimum of 48 hours' notice. I recommend booking as early as possible, particularly during busy periods, to give you the best chance of securing your preferred date and time.

Absolutely. I can create a customised tour based on your interests, available time and preferences. Even the tours featured on the website can be adapted when possible to better suit your group.
-
Tours normally go ahead in a range of weather conditions. If the weather makes a tour unsafe or impractical, we can adapt the itinerary, reschedule the tour or, if necessary, cancel it.
-
What happens if a museum or monument is closed?
I check the availability and opening status of relevant sites as close as reasonably possible to the start of each tour. Occasionally, a site may still close unexpectedly or change its opening hours.
If this happens, I will discuss the options with you and, where possible, find a suitable alternative.
-
Tours are available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
-
Yes. Children of all ages are welcome. Specific information about children and any considerations relevant to a particular tour can be found in the Practical Information section of that tour.
-
I will always do my best to adapt a tour to your needs. However, Lisbon's historic streets, cobblestones, slopes, pavements and some monuments have accessibility limitations that are beyond my control.
The Practical Information for each tour includes any specific considerations. If you have particular mobility or accessibility requirements, please let me know when making your enquiry so that we can plan the most suitable option.
-
What happens if we are late?
The agreed tour duration does not change because of a late arrival. A 30-minute arrival buffer is allowed, although arriving late may mean that some sites or monuments can no longer be visited within the agreed tour time.
If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, the tour may need to be shortened.
